Chelsea FC is not coming out of the crisis. The team, which was strengthened in winter for over 300 million euros, lost the derby at Tottenham after a poor performance and is now also struggling with injury worries.

English giants Chelsea have suffered another setback.

Due to the 0: 2 (0: 0) in the London derby at fourth-placed Tottenham Hotspur, the star ensemble around national player Kai Havertz is increasingly losing touch with the international places in the Premier League.

Chelsea are 14 points behind in fourth place.

The advantage over Everton in the first relegation zone is only ten points.

Midfielder Oliver Skipp scored his first goal in Spurs dress with a remarkable long-range shot under the bar (46'), England captain Harry Kane made the decision with his 18th goal of the season (82').

Big buyers Chelsea, who added more than 300 million euros last winter, remain in tenth place after 24 games and have scored just one goal in their last six competitive games.

Chelsea were also without a goal in the round of 16 first leg of the Champions League at Borussia Dortmund (0:1).

Silva had to get up early

A red card for creative player Hakim Ziyech because of an alleged assault was withdrawn by VAR in injury time in the first half, and Havertz received a warning after the pack formed.

A week and a half before the so important second leg in the premier class, team manager Graham Potter also has to worry about defender Thiago Silva, who was treated for pain in his left knee after a duel and had to be replaced a little later (19th).
