The first title for the 2022/23 season in England will be awarded tonight (Sunday) at Wembley Stadium, when Manchester United will meet Newcastle in the League Cup final.
For the Red Devils it is a chance to break a five-and-a-half-year title drought since winning the Community Shield in 2017, while the Magpies have not lifted a trophy since 1969 at Intercity, the predecessor to the UEFA Cup.
The United players arrive in high spirits, after knocking Barcelona out of the Europa League with a 1:2 win at Old Trafford and 3:4 on aggregate.
Erik ten Haag's team is benefiting from the excellent fitness of Marcus Rashford, who was in doubt for the match but started in the 11, alongside Antoni who returned to the lineup and Vaut and Horst who was placed on the wing.
The injured Anthony Martial was absent again and Jadon Sancho came to the bench.
