The Israel Olympic Committee has launched a unique communication workshop that will accompany the Olympic athletes on the way to Paris 2024. As part of the strategy led by the Israel Olympic Committee in everything related to providing practical tools to athletes, the workshop will focus on the field of communication as professional preparation in this arena for the benefit of recognition, practice and maximizing personal abilities.
This is a boutique workshop that will be held several times throughout the next year and a half, in which other athletes will participate each time with the aim of enabling as many athletes as possible to acquire these important skills.
For the benefit of the above, the member of the Olympic Committee in Israel for the theater, television and film actress, body language expert and director Vered Feldman and together the contents of the workshop were built.
In the workshop, the Olympic athletes were exposed to skills such as reading body language and using it correctly, with the aim of teaching the correct use of interviews in the media, accuracy of messages, achieving goals, interpersonal communication, as part of their everyday life as Olympic athletes.
The Olympic Committee in Israel is a multi-dimensional organization which, in addition to leading successful sports, leads extensive activity in the fields of education, innovation, marketing and science.
All of these are held in accordance with the road map of the International Olympic Committee, which is a compass for achieving all the goals in the organization's strategy.
Programs for the development and nurturing of athletes are on the agenda of the Olympic Committee and aim to empower the athletes in a way that combines sports, values and society.
The first workshop that opened was attended by: Athletics: Blessing Afrifa, Girma Arma, Yonatan Kapitolnik, Jamel Abdulmadj, Tahalvini Maleka, from the disciplines of swimming and artistic swimming: Matan Roditi, Ariel Nashi, Shelly Bobritsky, from taekwondo: Dana Azran, Nimrod Krivitsky, Rivka Bayich Assaf Yassur and from the triathlon, Shahar Shagiv.
