Last night (Sunday) Washington and Danny Avdia were hosted in Chicago in a game where they hoped to take another step towards the NBA playoffs - or at least the play-in games in the Eastern Conference, a struggle that the Bulls are also in.
In the absence of the injured Kristaps Porzingis and when Monte Morris was removed from the squad before the start due to pain, the Wizards were unable to recover from the loss to New York and suffered a second loss in a row, 102:82.

Avdia recorded a lukewarm performance in 27 minutes on the floor, when he scored 8 points, pulled down 4 rebounds and stole two balls.
The forward also recorded four turnovers and took only five shots from the field, going 1-for-4 from three and also shooting 3-for-4 from the free throw line.
Washington as a whole suffered a poor shooting night that included only 6 three-pointers at 21.4%, Bradley Beal led the scorers with 18 points, 7 rebounds and 8 assists and Daniel Gafford provided a double-double of 15 and 11 rebounds.
Chicago also started with a bad three-point percentage, 1-for-16 to be exact, but from midway through the third quarter, it hit 7-of-14 attempts from beyond the arc.
DeMar DeRozan didn't shoot at all from there, but went 2-for-11 on his way to 29 points and also dished out 6 assists, with Zach LaVine helping with 27 points of his own and the Bulls coming out with their second straight win, after entering the All-Star break with a six-game losing streak.
