A violent incident occurred this evening (Monday) in the match between Hapoel Beer Sheva and Maccabi Bnei Rayna at Turner Stadium.
In the 19th minute, a lighter was thrown at Reina goalkeeper Eric Janko from the Hapoel Be'er Sheva fans' stand, the lighter hit his back and even hit his head.
Even before the resumption of the second half, Hapoel Be'er Sheva announced that the suspect in throwing the lighter was caught thanks to technological means and detained for further treatment by the police.
On behalf of the police, it was stated: "As part of the preparation of the Beer Sheva station policemen for the game held between the teams Bnei Rayna and Hapoel Beer Sheva, a minor was detained on suspicion of throwing an object at the goalkeeper from the Maccabi Rayna team during the game.
"The minor was interviewed by a police officer and it was decided to immediately remove him from the football fields for 60 days."
