The European Football Championship will take place in Germany in 2024.

Munich - The last few years have been extraordinary - that also applies to football and its major tournaments.
After a European Championship, which had to be postponed from 2020 to 2021 due to the corona virus, the 2022 World Cup followed in Qatar.
This did not take place in summer, as usual, but in winter.
The EM 2024 will now run according to the normal pattern again.
The tournament will open on June 14, and the final will take place around four weeks later, on July 14, 2024.
As at the last European Championship, 24 teams will fight for the title at the EM 2024, the successor to the reigning European champion Italy is being sought.
The host country, Germany, wants to offer Europe's soccer fans a great festival.

The groups at the EM 2024 in Germany at a glance
The participants and the exact groups for the EM 2024 in Germany have not yet been determined.
The qualifying tournament for the European Championship will take place from March 23 to November 21, 2023, with 53 nations taking part.
Germany, as the host, has already qualified for the tournament, so the DFB team decided against participating in the qualifying tournament.
Russia was excluded from Euro 2024 due to the war of aggression against Ukraine.
It is already certain that the DFB team around national coach Hansi Flick will be the head of Group A.
The opening game will take place on June 14th at 9pm in the Allianz Arena in Munich.
