Original article from February 26, 2023:
The test drives are just over, the first Formula 1 race of the season takes place on Sunday (05.03) and there is already wild speculation that we could see Sebastian Vettel in the Formula 1 car .
The reason for this is an injured Lance Stroll.
He was already unable to complete the test rides because he injured his wrists in a bicycle accident.
There is even talk on social media that he is said to have broken both his wrists - so the Aston Martin driver would definitely be out for more than two weeks.
Name: Sebastian Vettel |
Born: July 3, 1987 in Heppenheim |
Nationality German |
Racing team: Aston Martin F1 Team (until 2022) |
greatest success: Formula 1 world champion with Red Bull (2010, 2011, 2012, 2013) |
Sebastian Vettel announced the end of his career in 2022 with an Instagram video.
He wants to focus more on his family and devote himself to environmental protection.
A comeback that quick doesn't really fit in there.
For the fans, however, the greatest thing would be to see Vettel back in the racing car.
This is also due to the fact that he can complete the 300 Formula 1 races, because so far he has “only” 299 on his CV.
