Ski idol Maria Höfl-Riesch with husband Marcus on a short vacation: "Back in the second home"
Höfl-Riesch is very active on social networks and lets her fans participate in her everyday life again and again.
A few months ago she went on an XXL dream trip and even met the Wontorra family.
In the spring of 2023, she was drawn far away again - but not too far.
Together with her husband Marcus Höfl, Maria now visited a place many Germans yearn for: Lake Garda!
She wrote about her short vacation via Instagram: "After a break in Italy for almost half a year, we are finally back in our second home – the beautiful Lake Garda."

In addition, the three-time Olympic champion shared a photo showing herself, her Marcus and the guest room of a restaurant.
Höfl-Riesch also explained directly where the food was served: “For Sunday lunch at the unique Agriturismo Rosa Selvatica.
Nowhere else can you find so much good quality food at absolutely reasonable prices.”
In fact, Lake Garda is very popular with travelers from Germany almost all year round - and has been for decades.

A number of fans thanked Höfl-Riesch in the comment column for the tip.
Love for Italy was also a big topic there.
The users wrote, among other things: "Have fun in the south, not only the good food, but also biking and climbing is worthwhile around Arco" or "The Lago is like coming home".
For Höfl-Riesch things went even further.
And she should have felt at home there too: her latest Instagram stories showed that she was skiing in Kitzbühel.
She wrote: "One of the best ski days of the season."
Katharina Althaus is also having good days at the Nordic World Ski Championships.
In a few weeks, there will also be a real highlight in my private life.
