An excellent first half was enough for Borussia Dortmund to record an important 1:2 victory in the top game against Red Bull Leipzig, and continue to dream of a championship.
Goals from Marco Reus (21, penalty) and Amra Chan (39) brought Edin Trezic's team down to a 0:2 lead at halftime, after another of their goals, from the feet of Julian Brandt, was disallowed due to a borderline difference.

Leipzig made great efforts to get back into the game in the second half, but settled for only a narrow goal from the feet of Emil Forsberg (74).
The loss left Leipzig in fourth place, which they can lose at the end of the cycle, if Freiburg wins their missing game.
It was Dortmund's 8th league win in a row.
