In terms of ecology, isn't Formula 1 making fun of the world?


MOOD – With its overloaded schedule and done despite environmental common sense, the discipline is not likely to restore its image with its detractors.

It's my passion to drive a car, and I love it.

However, when I get out of my single-seater, of course I reflect and also wonder if this is something one should do: travel the world wasting resources?

We can clearly see the world changing, with an increasingly threatened future for all of us and the generations to come.

So I understand that my passion, my work, comes with things that I'm not a fan of.

Last summer, when formalizing his future retirement, Sebastian Vettel did not hesitate to put forward, to explain his decision, ecological considerations.

A defender of bees in particular and sensitive to various environmental causes, the German, four-time Formula 1 world champion, wakes up perhaps a little late, but at least he does.

Which should inspire others, not among the drivers, but within the governing bodies of the queen of motor racing...
