Round of 16 - the second leg
Tonight (Wednesday), Tottenham and Milan took to the grass at the Roosters' stadium in London, for the return match in the round of 16 of the Champions League.
The Italians won 0:1 in the first match held about three weeks ago, but it is a fragile advantage and Tottenham are certainly capable of producing a turnaround.
Milan are hoping to reach the quarter-finals for the first time since the 2011/12 season, the Roosters last did so in 2018/19 (when they reached the final).
Tottenham came after a few particularly bad days which included losses to Sheffield United (Cup) and Wolves (Premier League).
The good news for her is that Pierre-Emile Hoyberg started after being sent off in the first game, but on the other hand Eric Dier is suspended and Antonio Conte is missing.
In Milan, Mike Mannion, who returned to activity in the league after a long injury, started in his first appearance in the Champions League since mid-September.
The match started 10 minutes late due to a delay in the arrival of the teams' buses to the stadium, as happened in London yesterday in the match between Chelsea and Borussia Dortmund.
At home, roosters have room for optimism.
