Cristiano Ronaldo's first major test in Saudi Arabia ended in disappointment, and with a lot of nerves.
Portugal's Al Nasser came into this season's match against Al Ittihad hoping to beat them for the first time since 2018, with an assist from the Portuguese star.
But Ronaldo looked frustrated and angry during the game, which ended in a 1-0 loss and knocked Al Nasser off the top.
Al Ittihad fans gave him a special welcome, including a huge unfurling flag with the word "Nightmare" on it - which aptly described Ronaldo's evening.
Even before a game, they sang songs of praise to Leo Messi and Ronaldo seemed to react to the teasing with anger, as he signaled to the stands with hand gestures that revenge would soon come.
Unfortunately, it didn't happen, and the songs about Messi continued throughout the evening.
On the way down to the dressing room, Ronaldo looked very nervous, and after hearing the opponent's fans sing again in Messi's honor, he was seen furiously kicking the bottles that were thrown his way.

This is the second game in a row in which Cristiano has not found the back of the net, and he is yet to be involved in the goals in March.
After surviving a loss twice in extra time, the first thanks to his successful penalty in 2:2 and the second last week in a 1:3 victory over Al Batin, CR7 was defeated for the first time in the Saudi League.
Fortunately for him, until the end of the season there are 10 cycles left to fix and achieve the championship.
