The American, victorious this Saturday in the Are slalom in Sweden, marks the history of her sport a little more.

Historical.

Legendary.

American Mikaela Shiffrin won her 87th World Cup victory by winning the slalom in Are (Sweden) on Saturday, breaking the record of success held so far by Swede Ingemar Stenmark.

After equaling Stenmark's mark (86 wins) the day before, Shiffrin beat Switzerland's Wendy Holdener (92/100) and Sweden's Anna Swenn Larsson (95/100) to become the sole record holder for victories in the world tour.
