Three days after the disappointing elimination from the Champions League by Bayern Munich, Paris Saint-Germain escaped another heartbreak this evening (Saturday) when they achieved a dramatic 1:2 away to Brest in the 27th round of the French league.

A goal by Kylian Mbappe in extra time was decisive, completing a beautiful milestone for the French champion: her 3,000th goal in the league.

Carlos Soler took advantage of Mario Bizot's poor tackle to put Paris up 0:1 in the 37th minute, but the Dutch goalkeeper made amends with a string of saves in the second half.

Frank Honora equalized in the 43rd minute and Brest managed to withstand the burst for many minutes, but not until the final whistle.

Towards the end, Brest felt that it could achieve a sensational victory and abandoned the back part a bit and in the 91st minute Lionel Messi sent Mbappe to a deep ball in front of Bizot and the striker passed him and rolled in.

Paris's 13th win in a row over Brest in all competitions, 11 in the league and two in the cup.

The last time the two teams met and Brest did not lose, was in the 2:2 home draw in April 2011.

In another match this evening, Okzar and Ran separated with a 0:0.
