After three consecutive losses, Washington recovered tonight (between Tuesday and Wednesday), when it defeated Detroit 97:117.
Without Kyle Kuzma, the Wizards ran to a 22-point lead already in the first quarter and did not struggle for a moment against one of the weakest teams in the league.
Despite the lack of Kuzma, Danny Avdia continued to come off the bench, but he also came back to himself - after four consecutive games in which he failed to reach double-figures, this time he provided 13 points (6 of 8 from the field, 1 of 3 for 3), 6 Rebounds and 2 assists in 29 minutes - more than any other bench player.
Thanks to the victory, Washington rose to tenth place in the East, with a record (37:32) slightly better than that of Chicago (36:31).
She hoped to continue the momentum with a much tougher game later this week - away, against Cleveland.
Finally.
