Arsenal - Sporting Lisbon 1:1 (2nd half)

13th minute: Francisco Trincao broke through on the right wing, cut towards the Arsenal box and kicked a strong shot that went past Aaron Ramsdale's post.
16th minute: A cross from Rhys Nelson found Gabriel Jesus who tried to push from close range and was stopped by Antonio Adan.

Gabriel Martinelli came one on one with Adan and was stopped by the Spanish goalkeeper, but Granit Xhaka was on the rebound and with a strong kick put Arsenal ahead 0:1!
28th minute: Again it was Martinelli who won the ball in the Sporting square, once again Adan made a good stop with a flat kick by the Brazilian.
29th minute: Xhaka passed to Jesus who broke into the Portuguese square, passed three players and stopped at Adan.

Minute 45+3: Manuel Ogreta got free for a kick outside the box for Ramsdale who headed well for a corner.
49th minute: Pedro Gonsalves tried to surprise Ramsdale with a kick outside the area, but the ball went over the frame of the English goalkeeper.
62nd minute: Goal!
Sporting returned in a big way to the game with one of the goals of the season in Europe - Gonsalves caught a ball in the center of the field, dribbled a little and kicked from almost half the field when he saw Ramsdale outside the goal on the way to an amazing 1:1!
Minute 65: Almost the turnaround!
A corner kick found the head of Paulinho who hit just over Ramsdale's crossbar.
72nd minute: Ricardo Esgayo took advantage of the Gunners losing a ball and with a deep pass found Edwards who stopped in front of Ramsdale who was injured.

79th minute: Fabio Vieira's free kick is well deflected by Adan who was not tested too much during the second half.
90 min: Edwards broke free from the guard of the Arsenal defense and kicked over Ramsdale's crossbar.

With a 0:2 advantage from the first match and in better form than the Basques, Jose Mourinho's Roma will try to take another step towards a second European title in a row, after winning the Conference League last season.
The Giallorossi with four wins from the last six games, while at the same time Sociedad with a single win have moved significantly away from Barcelona and Real Madrid in the league, and are now competing for their place in the top 4, as Roma do in the Italian league.

The draw for the quarter-finals and semi-finals of the Europa League will be held tomorrow (Friday, 14:00, Sport1) when there will be no restrictions in terms of meetings between teams from the same country or teams that played together in the group stage.
