The rumor had been circulating days ago in the vicinity of EHC Klostersee.
Dorfen – Now it's official: Lynnden Pastachak is leaving the Oberliga team after two seasons and will attack for ESC Dorfen in the Bayernliga next season.
ESC ice hockey boss Manfred Detterbeck confirmed this.
"Actually, something like this is always worth a prompt report, but in this case I'm not so enthusiastic about the early point in time," he says.
Understandable, because in contrast to the Grafingers, who escape the playdowns due to the Landsberg withdrawal, but on the other hand are sure of early relegation, the Dorfeners are still in league operations.
"Personnel planning for the new season is not yet an issue - and certainly not in public," emphasizes Detterbeck, who is not at all happy that the Pastachak transfer has already leaked out.
Dorfen's ice hockey boss says that Pastachak contacted the ESC when it was clear to him that he would leave Klostersee.
"But he will only live there to play ice hockey," explains Detterbeck.
And he also emphasizes that those responsible for EHC had promised not to announce at least the new Pastachaks club.
"We are all happy at the ESC that we now have the third-best scorer of the 2021/22 Bavarian league season in our ranks," said Detterbeck happily.
Understandably, he cannot and does not want to reveal more about personal details at this point in time.
The 26-year-old Canadian Pastachak can play both center and winger.
In the Dorfen camp, you will definitely remember the 2021/22 Bavarian league season.
In the first meeting on the third match day in the Dr. Rudolf Stadium, Klostersee only had three assists in the 5-1 win at Pastachak.
In the second leg at the end of November in the Grafinger "Scheune" the Eispiraten already led 4:0 in the middle of the second period.
With four goals, three of which were a flawless hat trick in the second half of the game, and shortly before the end the goal for the 5:4 victory, Pastachak gave the Ice Pirates his impressive calling card in a memorable game.
Born in Bienfait, in the province of Saskatchewan, he enjoyed his training in Estevan, ten kilometers away and 10,000 inhabitants, with the Bruins of the Saskatchewan Junior Hockey League (SJHL).
After four seasons with the Red Deer College Kings in the Alberta Colleges Athletic Conference (ACAC) and the Bienfait Coalers in the Bix Six Hockey League (BSHL), he came to EHC Klostersee for the 2021/22 Bayernliga season.
With 33 goals and 33 assists in 36 games, he made a significant contribution to promotion to the Oberliga.
In the third highest league he was the top scorer this season with 14 goals at bottom EHC Klostersee, who has 18 points after 48 games and a goal difference of 87:236.
In Klostersee, Pastachak stormed with number 22. In Dorfen, 20-year-old Felix Lohmaier has it – a former Klosterseeer who came to the ESC before this season.
