The French Football Federation will organize next Friday a tribute to the tricolor internationals who have decided to end their career with the Blues recently.
Hugo Lloris, Raphaël Varane, Steve Mandanda or even Blaise Matuidi should be present for this event taking place before the match against the Netherlands at the Stade de France.
One player, however, should be missing: Karim Benzema.
According to RMC, the Real Madrid striker, who announced his international retirement after the World Cup in Qatar in which he was unable to take part due to injury, will not be present.
The radio does not specify whether it is an incompatibility with its calendar during the international break or the consequence of the complicated relations maintained with the blue clan, in particular with Didier Deschamps.
A cold with the Blues?
Karim Benzema recently called out Deschamps for lying about the mysterious and on the sly circumstances of his departure from Qatar during the World Cup when he had just suffered an injury.
Didier Deschamps had delivered his version of the facts but the Ballon d'Or 2022 replied to him with an acid message on social networks.
