Kalimuendo buries his former club
It has become a habit: PSG is regularly tormented by its exes.
Arnaud Kalimuendo followed in the footsteps of Kingsley Coman with Bayern by scoring the break goal for Rennes on Sunday at the Parc des Princes (0-2).
Which Kalimuendo was dumped in Brittany last summer, in particular to make room for Hugo Ekitike, transparent on Sunday when he entered.

There were a few whistles at the break, when Rennes were already leading 1-0.

Normal… But the behavior of the Collectif Ultras Paris and more generally of the Parc des Princes was irreproachable on Sunday.
The CUP even applauded the few players who have greeted them since… the central circle after the match, Kylian Mbappé in the lead.
Only one of them ventured to the foot of the turn, the Italian goalkeeper Gigio Donnarumma.

PSG, the law of the middle
With a decimated defense, Christophe Galtier made the choice to stay in 3-5-2, with therefore a midfielder at three.
Except that the Vitinha / Verratti / Ruiz trio was crunched by the Rennais, the Ugotchukwu / Bourigeaud duo in the lead.
The entrants did not do much better than the incumbents, with the exception of Warren Zaire-Emery, aligned… on the right.
In short, PSG again took the broth in the midfield on Sunday against Rennes, nothing new under the sun.

Paris did not have the flame
Admittedly, Christophe Galtier's players dominated the first act, creating several situations.
The Rennais were not unhappy to lead 1-0 at the break.
But we had to wait to see the Red and Blue trailing 0-2 to see a semblance of reaction, of revolt.
And again… Lack of desire, tactical and physical limits, make your choice to justify this new dubious performance from the capital club, still groggy after its elimination in C1.
Obviously, the absences are substantial (Neymar, Kimpembe, Ramos…).
But that does not explain everything in terms of state of mind and desire.
