In a statement from the club, CEO Oliver Kahn took the floor and praised the constant cooperation: "FC Bayern attaches great importance to reliable, ongoing partnerships.

The liaison between FC Bayern and the insurance group, which has its headquarters in Munich, has existed since 2000.

A further consolidation of the cooperation was the entry as a shareholder in FC Bayern AG in 2014. Allianz, like Adidas and Audi, each holds 8.33 percent.
According to the statutes, the remaining 75% belong to the parent association.
