– The women of SV Mammendorf stay on course.
With 59:56 they defeated the Haching Baskets.
"It was a great game with a great atmosphere in the hall," describes coach Nico Müller.
It was true that they made it unnecessarily difficult for themselves and failed to reward good throws with hits.
"But the attitude of the team was perfect even in difficult phases, so I never worried that we wouldn't be able to get the win," says Müller.
After a strong first quarter (20:15), the further rounds were much tighter (11:10, 8:14, 20:17 from the SVM point of view).
Among the top scorers from Mammendorf were Julia Westenrieder with 15 and Amelie Kayser with 13 points.
On the last day of the season, next Sunday, the black and yellow go to SB DJK Rosenheim.
Then it's about second place in the table.
“The starting position is very clear, whoever wins will be runner-up.
We will do everything we can for this,” explains Müller.
Rosenheim is a young, well-trained team.
"But if we play our game, we'll definitely be able to take revenge on the first leg," he says.
Basketball: Gröbenzell is defeated in Schrobenhausen

– The SC Gröbenzell Bayernliga basketball team returned from their away game with a defeat.
They lost 61:73 to the Green Devils Schrobenhausen.
"Unfortunately, the worm is currently in our games," says coach Marijo Knezevic.
According to him, the fault is not in the defense.
“We play really well on defense.
However, as in the last few games, the offensive is causing us difficulties,” he analyses.
It was tight after the first quarter, but it still looked good for the Gröbenzellers.
With 16:14 they were able to secure a small lead.
However, they could not win the remaining quarters (11:18, 13:20).
The last quarter ended in a 21:21 draw.
The top scorers from Gröbenzell included Thomas Michael Auerhammer with 20 points and Ben Hebling with 15 points.
“Now we have to do a good job in training.
Above all, it's about finding an offensive rhythm and winning the last two games," says Knezevic.
Next Saturday the Slama Jama Gröbenzell will be at home against HSB Landsberg.
