About five months after the couple announced their separation at the end of 13 years of marriage, supermodel Gisele Bündchen gave an interview published today (Wednesday) in "Vanity Fair" magazine in which she decided to refute the "very painful" rumors regarding her divorce from football legend Tom Brady, which described as "death and rebirth".
As I remember, when the couple announced that their paths would part, it was claimed that the reason for this was the quarterback's return from retirement, but Gisele clarified in an interview: "Listen, I always encouraged him and I was ready to continue forever. If there is a person I want to be the happiest in the world, it is him. Believe me. I want him to achieve."
The Brazilian said that the media turned her into "someone who opposes football" because of the divorce: "Are you kidding me? I learned about it! We used to joke that I would be able to referee games because I had seen so much, and I loved it."

Gisele also denied dating Brady's boyfriend, real estate mogul Geoffrey Soffer, after it was reported in the Daily Mail six days ago. "I have nothing to do with him.
He's Tom's friend, I wouldn't date his friend.
I wouldn't go out with this guy," she promised.
About the decision to divorce she said: "It's hard, because I imagined that my life would go a certain way and I did everything I could.
We realized that we just wanted different things and that we needed to make a decision.
