Danny Avdia stood out for the second night in a row, but the Washington Wizards suffered their fourth straight loss and continue to move away from the playoffs.

Avdia made the top five in the absence of the injured Bradley Beal and Kyle Kuzma and, as mentioned, was one of the standouts in Washington in the first half, but in the end Nikola Jokic took over the evening, who recorded a double-double of 31 points with 12 of 16 from the field, took 12 rebounds and also handed out 7 assists that ran Denver for the win.
Following the loss, Washington (40:33) remained 2.5 games away from the play-in.
Denver improved its record to 24:49 and, as you know, has already secured its place in the playoffs.
Kristaps Porzingis scored 25 points and led the Wizards' scorers, on the other hand, Porter Jr. and Jamal Murray also stood out in the ranks of the Nuggets who scored 21 and 17 points respectively.
