The English captain (81st cap against Italy) overtakes Wayne Rooney (120 caps between 2003 and 2018), whom he joined with 53 goals during the 2022 World Cup in Qatar.
Kane scored England's second goal on a penalty caused by an involuntary hand from Giovanni Di Lorenzo on a corner (44th).
The English striker has already become the top scorer in the history of his club, Tottenham, by scoring his 267th goal in early February against Manchester City (1-0), overtaking the legend of the 1960s, Jimmy Greaves (266).
With the jersey of England, Kane had scored from his first selection, in March 2015, against Lithuania (4-0).
