UEFA opens an investigation into Barcelona for the 'Negreira case'

UEFA has decided to open an investigation into Barça this Thursday for the Negreira case.

"UEFA Disciplinary Regulations, UEFA Ethics and Disciplinary Inspectors have been appointed today to carry out an investigation into a possible violation of UEFA's legal framework by FC Barcelona in relation to the so-called Negreira Case" , says the highest organization of European football in a statement.

In this, they refer to article 31.4, which has to do with ethics and discipline.

In it, the power is given to “The UEFA Executive Committee, the UEFA President, the UEFA General Secretary and the disciplinary bodies” to “carry out investigations, either alone or in cooperation with other members of the UEFA or outside UEFA”.
