Will Israel's rival Belarus be suspended from UEFA, thereby ending its path in the Euro 2024 qualifiers? Today (Friday), the president of the organization, Alexander Ceparin, sent a letter to the 100 members of the European Union Parliament, in which it was written, among other things, that "UEFA intends to discuss the situation in Belarus at our next board meeting. We are closely following the developments" - this against the background of the country's support for Russia, during its war in Ukraine.
The meeting will be held on April 4.
The Israeli team will meet the Belarus team on June 16, 2023, and then again on September 12.
As you know, teams and sports teams from Russia have been suspended from activity in most international frameworks, including UEFA and FIFA institutions - this is in contrast to Belarus, at least until these moments.

Earlier this week, a group of members of the Swiss parliament drafted a letter to Ceferin, in which they demanded to postpone the match of the Swiss national team against the Belarusians, which will take place tomorrow.
"We are not ready to accept the fact that our national team is supposed to play in the Euro qualifiers against a country that is responsible for flagrant violations of civil rights, and that supports Russia's war against Ukraine," it said.
