Without any prior warning, Bayern Munich stunned the football world last night (Thursday) when, according to reports, they decided to fire Julian Nagelsmann after less than two years on the job.
An official announcement about the end of the 35-year-old coach's journey is expected to come out today, when Thomas Tuchel has already concluded his terms and will replace him in Bavaria.
Bayern did win all their games this season in the Champions League, but what made the difference for the management is the shuffling in the league.
The champion lost 10 points only in 2023, and next Saturday will come to the game of the season against Dortmund trailing by a point.
According to the reports in Germany, the management considered Nagelsmann to be to blame for the situation in the league and decided that the break was the right time to replace him.

Nagelsmann, who will arrive at the training complex today to complete the departure, was completely surprised when the decision caught him while he was on a skiing holiday in Austria.
By the way, one of the most dramatic events in Bayern's season - the injury that ended Manuel Neuer's season - also happened while the goalkeeper was on a skiing holiday in Germany's neighboring country.
