Danny Avdia recorded one of his best games in the NBA tonight (between Friday and Saturday).
He scored 21 points, grabbed 11 rebounds and also handed out 6 assists on the way to a 124:136 home victory over the San Antonio Spurs, which leaves Washington in the play-in picture - the Wizards in the balance (33:41), two games away from the tenth place Chicago Bulls.
Washington came into tonight's meeting after four straight losses and once again missing the injured Bradley Beal and Kyle Kuzma, but the Israeli recorded a second double-double in the last three games and crossed the 20-point streak for the seventh time since making his debut in the best basketball league in the world in December 2020.

Avdia started with the five tonight as well and in total scored 9 of 14 from the field (3 of 6 from beyond the arc, 0-1 from the free throw line), also stole once and lost two balls in 34 minutes on the floor.
The Israeli again went into halftime with 14 points, as he did on the night between Wednesday and Thursday against Denver, but scored more than 2 points this time and the Wizards returned to the winning track.
The Washington scorers were led by Corey Kispert who recorded a career high 26 points, Delon Wright scored 24 and Kristaps Porzingis scored 23 points and was one rebound away from a double-double.
In the ranks of San Antonio Caledon Johnson recorded a double-double of 30 points and 10 rebounds.
