"The luck of Real Madrid was to release Ronaldo. This is not a joke, this is the truth," said the 76-year-old former Italian coach.
"I spoke to the president and told him, 'This should be kicked out of here.' He weighed 94 kilos. I asked him, 'When you won the World Cup with Brazil, how much did you weigh?'. He told me '84.' He had to go down, and he didn't go down. He really liked the night life, the women... and many actors would go with him."
Capello also mentioned a conversation with the person who served as president of Milan at the time, in which he also coached: "There was an agreement with an Arab group or something like that regarding Ronaldo, Berlusconi calls me and says 'Fabio, what about Ronaldo?'. I answered him 'Mr. President, leave him alone.' He likes women and nightlife'. He said to me, 'Thank you very much, Fabio'. A day later I saw a headline in the 'Gazzetta dello Sport' - 'Ronaldo to Milan'."
