Denver (24:50) - Milwaukee (21:53) 106:129
Are they preparing for the finals?
The two regional leaders met tonight, and the Nuggets recorded an impressive victory in Denver: Nikola Jokic scored 31 points and handed out 11 assists, Jamal Murray finished with 26 points and 9 assists, Michael Porter Jr. scored 19 for the Western Conference leader, who dismantled the Bucks 40: 68 in the second half.
Giannis Antetokounmpo scored 31 points, but contributed just 7 in the second half after shooting 24 on 11-of-14 in the first half.
But then Denver ran to 19:34 in the third quarter and opened a gap, and 6 minutes to the end Yannis went to the bench and did not return as an official surrender, in a head-to-head battle with his rival in the race for the title of MVP.
It's just Milwaukee's fourth loss since Jan. 21.
Miami (35:40) - Brooklyn (34:40) 129:100
Brooklyn came determined after five straight losses, but didn't imagine it would be so easy: Michael Bridges scored 27 points, Cam Johnson scored 23, Spencer Dinwiddie finished with 15, and the Nets won after opening the third quarter with a 6-run :31 (!), after the Heat actually led in the first half.
In all, Miami scored just 31 points in its entire miserable second half, in which it surrendered 64:31.
Max Strauss finished with 23 hits, all in the first half (which he started with 9 of 9).
Tyler Hero scored 23, Jimmy Butler 18.
Atlanta (37:37) - Indiana (42:33) 130:143
Eight players in Atlanta scored in double figures, and above all John Collins stood out with 21 points, on a night in which the Hawks set a record season points, even though they played without Trae Young, who was ejected in the third quarter.
Jordan Navarre finished with a season-high 33 points, which was not enough for the Pacers.
