Moments of panic passed last night (Monday) for the Peru national team players, who found themselves in a violent confrontation with police officers in Madrid.
It all took place in a hotel in the city, when several dozen Peruvian fans arrived to cheer on the players they admired.
The players themselves approached to confess, but the local police did not understand that they were representatives of the Peru national team, and began to push them.
A real brawl began, during which Yoshimar Houghton, Pedro Galasa and Alex Valera were detained.

"We tried to reach our fans, and the policemen just started beating us," said Galsa, who was only released at five in the morning after several hours of questioning at the police station.
A pair of his friends were questioned but not taken into custody, however according to Peruvian media, their passports were confiscated.
They will only receive them after the Morocco friendly, tomorrow night in Madrid.
"We request an immediate explanation from all the authorities involved," tweeted Peru's Foreign Ministry.
