38 assists were given by Maccabi Tel Aviv players in last night's (Tuesday) astronomical victory 80:111 over Virtus Bologna, thus setting the Euroleague record in the 23 years of the factory's existence.
The previous record was 36, and belonged to Real Madrid from 2016.
The Yellows' club record was 31 assists, and it was achieved 19 years ago, in a win over Skipper Bologna in the 2004 final.
The audience at Yad Eliyahu has not enjoyed for 18 years so many points that fell before their eyes in the Euroleague.
Maccabi had 111, the most in a home game since defeating in 2005 another Italian team, Scabolini Pezzaro, 73:123.
The 62 points scored by Oded Ketch's players until the break is a club record in the current format of the EuroLeague.
In doing so, they surpassed by a point the 61 recorded in 2005 against AAK Athens and in 2013 against Besiktas.

And 62 points in one half, in general?
It's not even a record against the city of Bologna.
In the 2004 final, the machine of Finny Gershon and David Blatt flew to 63 in the second half, en route to winning the cup.
Maccabi Tel Aviv's all-time record for the first half in the European Cups: 67 points that went into halftime against Torfan Helsinki in 1987.
The last time Maccabi lost by 31 points happened three and a half years ago, 62:93 over Villerban at the beginning of the 2019/20 season, which was interrupted by the corona virus.
Jake Cohen and John DiBartholomeo, who then scored 16 and 5 points respectively (9 and 2 yesterday), are the only ones who have survived since then on the team.
62 points at halftime?
It's not even a city record against Bologna.

For Sergio Scariolo, it is not even a record loss in the hall.
In 1999, he was defeated by Maccabi Tel Aviv by 40 points, 104:64, when he coached Baskonia.
Opposing coach Oded Ketch shot 7-of-9 three-pointers en route to 23 points that evening.
This is the first victory of the yellows over Virtus Bologna by Yad Eliyahu after 38 years.
The previous one was achieved in 1985, when Mickey Berkovich scored 35 points on the way to 76:90 in the final.
In the unforgettable 74:118 in the Euroleague final 19 years ago, which was also mentioned here, Maccabi defeated Virtus' city rival, from the Fortitudo club.
Marco Belinelli appeared in both games;
In 2004, as an 18-year-old, he scored three points;
Yesterday, as a 37-year-old veteran, he turned eight.
