Arling Holland records a historic debut season at Manchester City.

Already in March, he reached 42 goals in 37 games in the blue uniform of the Premier League champion and broke the record of Sergio Aguero, who until then scored the most times in one season at the Citizens.

With the professional success on the grass, the Norwegian went on to success on the financial side as well when he signed a sponsorship contract with Nike that shattered all the records in world football.

The young striker will get to wear the footwear and clothing company's products for the next 10 years for 22.7 million euros per season.

"The number of goals he scores seals his future and that of world football in general, this is what makes him the heir of the previous great number 9 - the Brazilian Ronaldo - he is on his way to becoming the face of the next generation of strikers," said Nike.

The American company praised Holland, whose previous contract expired at the age of 14. Since then, he has moved between different footwear companies, but Larona chose Nike as his official sponsor and joined names such as Kylian Mbappe, Marcus Rashford, Harry Kane, Kevin de Brauna and, of course, Cristiano Ronaldo.

His contract with Nike will be one of the highest in the company's history, with names like Michael Jordan and Tiger Woods only having contracts bigger than his own.
