After the 0:1 victory over Real Madrid in the first match held at the Santiago Bernabeu at the beginning of March, Barcelona will host tonight (Wednesday, 22:00, Sport4) the second leg of the Spanish King's Cup semi-final, with the aim of taking another step towards the title.
With a record of 101 El Clasico wins to Barcelona's 100, the Blancos will try to overturn the Catalans' advantage and return to cup final status for the first time since the 2013/14 season, when they also won with a dramatic 1-2 particularly memorable with that Gareth Bale goal against Barcelona at the Stadium The Mastaya.
Xavi's players will have the opportunity to match the number of victories in the meetings between the two and get closer to winning 32 in a factory in which they have won more times than any other team in the history of the cup.
On the host side, Marcos Alonso is expected to start in the brake position while Gabi will return to midfield.
Sergi Roberto, who scored against Real in the league, is in Xavi's 11 picture, with Rafinha up front and Enso Fati next to Robert Lewandowski.
Carlo Ancelotti welcomed Antonio Rudiger straight back into the squad, with Eder Militau, who scored the own goal in the first leg, alongside him in central defence.
Eduardo Camabinga was preferred over Urlain Tshoumani, with Vinicius, Karim Benzema and Rodrigo in front, trying to reverse the result and qualify for the final.
