Lenggries/Peiting - The Easter tournament of the judo department in TV Lenggries - intended for beginners - enjoys unbroken popularity.

Well over 100 girls and boys from the age groups U11 and U14 came to the most recent edition.

TSV Peiting was also there with a large contingent.

For some of the TSV fighters "it was the first tournament, but they still put up a good fight," reported coach Uli Tausch.

Philipp Braun, Thomas Barnsteiner, Jakob Welz and Maxi Dietl were also on duty as supervisors.

They saw two class wins, from Anton Schmidt and Jonas Sandner, who each ended their four fights early with ippon.

Tolga Jesberger, Joschi Barnsteiner and Emil and Oskar Braun each took second place.

Seven TSV fighters finished the Easter tournament in third place - these were Korbinian Schneider, Sascha Donchenko, Pano Torounidis, Maxi Obholzer, Amelie Sandner, Lotta Strauss and Stina Kellerei.

Katrin Rohre took fourth place in her class.

In the end, Florian Dietl, Karl Jesberger, Felix Dietl and Jakob Kekeisen finished fifth.
