Not only in Israel: all over the world Olympic athletes encounter difficulty financing their professional careers and the pursuit of the Olympic dream.
Now the Canadian figure skater Alexandra Yancolescu also reveals that she is trying to compete in the Olympic Games in the summer in cycling, and finance the dream with the help of an account on OnlyFans where she will post sexy photos of herself.
She made the switch from speed skating to cycling after her disappointing 2018 Winter Olympics.
Yancolescu stopped training for several weeks after being told she was not part of the team that would go to PyeongChang.
She was then added to the team late, resulting in her being unprepared and finishing in last place.

Yancolescu says she has always loved cycling and in 2018 she decided to give cycling a try.
"I've always loved riding," she says, "I guess it's because of the speed skating, it's always with training on the bike, and I've come to love the aspect where you can train and see more than just an indoor rink, you can really choose your own adventure! Every time I clicked , I would ride and pass people, I was completely addicted to it."
Iancolescu's transition to cycling put her in a prestigious amateur cycling group.
Now, she wants to go further.
The training schedule required to help her reach the Olympics made the 31-year-old look for a way to finance her dream.
A company made the offer that it would start creating content on OnlyFans.
In 2021 she joined and used it to fund her cycling.
She said, “I made an OnlyFans account in 2021... It helps me survive, pay rent, pay for groceries, and it covers the bike and coffee bills!
"Someone suggested, 'Why don't you have an OnlyFans account and create like behind the scenes of what you do?'" she continued.
"And since you're posting bikini pictures anyway, you can actually charge for it."
Iancolescu decided to give it a month and see how it goes.
This month has turned into two years and the road to Paris in 2024, if she succeeds, will be paved with OnlyFans gold.
"Seriously, people pay for it," she says, "Like, I love my body. I want to post it anyway... So I said, I'll give myself a month and see how it goes. And it was crazy!".
If she achieves her goals, Iancolescu will join the rare list of athletes who have competed in both the Winter and Summer Olympics.
In addition, she will join the list of athletes who financed their trips to the games with OnlyFans funds.
