FC Bayern Munich experienced a nightmare evening at Manchester City.

Manchester – FC Bayern Munich saw their goals for the season in jeopardy and therefore changed their coach at the end of March.
Julian Nagelsmann had to go, Thomas Tuchel came.
Less than two weeks later, one of these goals, the DFB Cup, is already gone after the bankruptcy against Freiburg.
And the second, the Champions League, seems to follow immediately.
Because after the 3-0 defeat in the first leg of the quarter-finals at Manchester City, the German record champions need a miracle in the second leg on April 19 to still move into the semi-finals.

Manchester City punishes Bayern's mistakes coldly
Now Tuchel is hardly to blame for the first two defeats in his Bavarian tenure.
In Manchester he had left Thomas Muller on the bench but the explanation made sense - and his side played a very good game away to one of the best sides in the world.
In the first round, the possession of the ball was partially evenly balanced.
A circumstance that only very few teams at Etihad Stadium can produce.
And yet Pep Guardiola's side led 1-0 at the break after a dream goal by Rodri (27').
Decisive in this scene: A little too much space for the defensive midfielder, a few centimeters too little height for goalkeeper Yann Sommer, but above all an outstanding finish from the Spaniard.
At world-class level, it's those few percentage points that make the difference.
Upamecano blunders – FC Bayern messes up a good away performance in Manchester within six minutes
Bayern had to put up with significantly more allegations when Bernardo Silva (70th) made it 0-2.
Dayot Upamecano, who had been restless all evening, made a major blunder and lost the ball deep in his own half.
In the end, Erling Haaland crossed to the Portuguese, who was able to nod off unhindered.
Six minutes later, the fate finally befell Bayern that so many clubs had already experienced at Man City: incessant pressure resulted in another goal within a very short time.
Haaland, who had a rather inconspicuous appearance by his standards, pushed the ball over the line from a very short distance.

And so Bayern lost 3-0, although the performance wasn't completely wrong.
This is one of the reasons why Tuchel said after the game that he had fallen in love with his team.
