Now the ski jumper can take his loved one home from the hospital.

Kubacki's wife Marta discharged from the hospital - pacemaker needed
"We came home today," Kubacki wrote in an emotional Instagram post on Friday afternoon, thanking the medics who "worked a miracle."
Marta Kubacki had been taken to a clinic in Zabrze in mid-March because of cardiological problems. Dawid Kubacki feared for the life of his seriously ill wife for several days.
"Thank you for every single one of your prayers, good thoughts and words of encouragement," the 33-year-old wrote in his post for a selfie showing the couple smiling together in front of the hospital: "We will still need them because Marta intensive rehabilitation will begin and I will get to know a new reality.” Kubacki's wife will have to wear a pacemaker in the future.

"It turns out that almost all of us know someone with a cardioverter defibrillator, commonly known as a pacemaker," Kubacki continued, announcing, "I'm going to share a life with a person like that, a second life."
The sympathy for the relieving message was overwhelming on Instagram, several teammates and competitors from the ski jumping circus spoke up.
"Great news.
Have a safe journey home and good luck with whatever comes,” wrote Four Hills Tournament winner and overall World Cup winner Halvor Granerud.
German ski jumper Juliane Seyfarth responded with three heart emojis.

Despite his chances of winning the overall World Cup, Dawid Kubacki ended his season about four weeks ago.
After the last ski jumping in Planica, there was goose bumps at the award ceremony with a Kubacki cardboard figure.
The Kubackis have two children, daughter Maja was born in early January during the Four Hills Tournament.
In addition to winning the 2020 Four Hills Tournament, the gold medal on the normal hill at the 2019 World Championships in Seefeld is the Pole's greatest success.
At the 2018 Olympics in Pyeongchang, Kubacki also won the bronze medal with the team, and there was also bronze at the 2022 Olympics in Beijing on the normal hill.
Overall, he has eleven wins in singles and eight with the team.
It was initially not known whether Kubacki would return to the ski jumps for the new winter sports season.
