Hapoel Beer Sheva

Summary: Hapoel Beer Sheva - Maccabi Netanya 2:2 (Sport1)

After the home loss to Maccabi Tel Aviv and the feeling of anguish that accompanies the team in recent days, Hapoel Beer Sheva will try to pick up a gear again with the aim of returning tomorrow (Sunday, 20:30) from Netanya with points and not giving up at least second place.

The team does not for a moment underestimate the runners-up and do not want to let Maccabi Tel Aviv overtake, what's more, theoretically the team still has a chance, albeit a slim one, to win the championship.

Miguel Vitor was unable to practice on Saturday and was left out of the squad for the game, so Eliniv Berda had to act in accordance with his and Ayad Abu Abid's absence.

Vitor was replaced against Maccabi Tel Aviv during the break and has had trouble training since then due to the burdens he is still carrying from the national team.

Adrian Fawn may return to the squad.

Patrick Kalimela should again get credit in the lineup, even though he didn't have a good game against Maccabi Tel Aviv.

Should go ahead and get the credit in the attack.

Trivia

* There have been 107 meetings so far between the teams in the first league.

Maccabi Netanya won 40 times, Hapoel Beer Sheva 32 and another 35 games ended in a draw.

* The final of the Toto Cup this season ended 0:0 before Maccabi Netanya won on penalties, but in the framework of the league, the last draw between the two was in Wassermill, in October 1998 when they played together in the second division.

Since then there have been goals in all 42 meetings.

* Maccabi Netanya counts five consecutive league losses, as happened to them in September-November 2019. There has not been a longer streak since the six losses in March-May 2016, during the relegation to Leumit in the dismantling season.

During that season there was also a longer streak of nine losses.

* Hapoel Beer Sheva is the best away team in the league (33 points out of 42) and the only one without a draw this season as a guest.

Netanya has only one draw as host (the fewest, next to Maccabi Haifa).

* Patrick Tovmasi participated in four league games against Beer Sheva and scored in each of them.

Five goals in total, including a pair in the home game in the playoffs last season (0:3).
