SE Freising: Bittner expects a reaction after a poor Landshut performance

The SE Freising missed it in Landshut to further set off from ASV Dachau, which was on a direct relegation zone.

Now it's against Unterföhring.

Freising – Sometimes it doesn't hurt to let off some steam.

Florian Bittner, player coach of SE Freising, analyzed his emotionally charged away game at SpVgg Landshut on Tuesday evening, which the yellow-black team lost 1-0.

Because of the mistake by ASV Dachau, Lerchenfelder also missed the chance to increase the gap to the first direct relegation zone to four points.

SE Freising: Nobody opened their mouths in Landshut

The coach described the latest appearance as "absolutely disappointing and empty".

The Freisingers looked a bit like rabbits in front of the snake - so the SEF was back on the ground after the strong performance against Forstinning.

Bittner was still reasonably satisfied with the first round, but in the second 45 minutes the performance was even worse than in the 0:5 smack against Eggenfelden.

"My team seemed scared and overwhelmed on Tuesday."

The much greater criticism: A loudspeaker was missing on the pitch.

One who leads the young and overwhelmed players and gives commands.

Bittner himself was already out with a laceration at the time - the moment from which things went downhill a bit.

However, Landshut could not punish this.

The coach would have liked to put the experienced players to work – but assistant coach Michael Schmid was missing.

Florian Schmuckermeier and Sebastian Thalhammer, who had switched to central defence, were more concerned with themselves after surviving injuries.

"Unfortunately, Jonas Mayr has never been a loudspeaker," says Bittner.

Bittner: "We can't let ourselves go like that against Unterföhring"

That's why the Domstadt team had a lot to talk about in training on Thursday.

"I'm already expecting a reaction from the team," was the clear statement.

"Especially because Unterföhring will be of a different caliber, so we can't let ourselves go like that."

At least in terms of personnel, things are looking a little better: Schmid is back, Felix Fischer can also play again.

And Bittner's headache?

In the meantime it has been sewn up – “if I have to, I’ll play with a bathing cap”.

With so much ambition, some actors can learn a lesson.
