2 – Jose Mourinho (Manchester United), 22.7 million
The king of severance pay is him.
It's hard to know the numbers down to the penny, but it looks like Jose Mourinho has never taken such a big check as he did at Manchester United.
Two and a half years after his arrival, the Portuguese was fired in December 2018. The Red Devils, renowned for their excellent financial health, are not afraid to splurge, whether with players or coaches.
3 – Laurent Blanc (PSG), 22 million
Laurent Blanc took a big check, and he would be rather proud of it.
Arrived at Paris Saint-Germain in the summer of 2013, the current Lyon coach had extended his contract in February 2016, until the summer of 2018. But four months later and a disappointment in the quarter-finals of the Champions League, White took the door.
