French boxer Estelle Mossely returns to the ring on Friday to try to win the WBC Silver welterweight belt against Mexican defending champion Magali Rodriguez in Dushanbe, Tajikistan, she announced Monday on her social networks.
Until then, Mossely had fought in the lightweights, of which she holds the IBO belt, successfully defended in February in Paris.

The WBC "Silver" belt is the equivalent of an interim title, but does not equate to the WBC championship title.
If she wins, she could be named the official challenger for the unified super-lightweight title.
At 30, Mossely has 11 victories and no defeats among professionals, after his Olympic title in 2016.
