The women's XV of France let slip its dreams of the first Grand Slam since 2018, after being outclassed at Twickenham by the English (38-33), on the last day of the Six Nations Tournament.
After a good but totally sterile start to the match, the French completely took on water in the first act, conceding no less than five tries (33-0 at the break).
Despite a big jump on the way back from the locker room - with tries first from Vernier (56th) and Escudero (60th) then from Gros (76th) and Banet (80th) -, the Blues can harbor enormous regrets.
Intractable on the Old Continent, the Red Roses, reigning vice-world champions, won a 14th title and signed a 12th Grand Slam.
