Tuchel explains Hoeneß's visit: the meeting took place at the wrong place

Before FC Bayern's game against Hertha BSC, Thomas Tuchel spoke about Uli Hoeneß's visit.

The trainer now reveals that the meeting was not actually planned and took place in the wrong place.

"He actually just wanted to tell me who's playing at the weekend," replied Tuchel with a grin when asked about the content of the conversation.

With his joke, the Krumbacher caused a lot of laughter in the media room on Säbener Straße and at the same time eased the tense atmosphere a little.

"I saw that straight away," said the 49-year-old before revealing the real reason for Hoeneß' trip to the training ground.

"I know he wanted to say hello to me.

Normally I'm still up there in the physio department, in the office, but because we had to set up several stations and had to carry a few goals, I wanted to help out.

Tuchel and Hoeneß exchanged gestures.

Whether the players can convert the appearance of the true Bayern boss Hoeneß into positive energy will be shown on Sunday against the guest from Berlin.

Tuchel was ruthless at Bayern-PK and openly admitted: "The team no longer trusts itself to cross the path".
