Death of Bernard Lapasset: a minute of applause will be respected in Top 14 and in Pro D2

The National Rugby League issued a press release on Wednesday indicating that a tribute will be paid to the former French leader.


On all the lawns of Top 14 during the 24th day as well as on the grounds of Pro D2 for the 30th and last day, a tribute will be paid to Bernard Lapasset.

The former president of the FFR died on Tuesday evening at the age of 75.

The National Rugby League announced in a press release that a minute of applause will be given to this man who has worked for a long time to develop rugby.

Through his leadership and his passion for our sport, Bernard Lapasset has allowed French rugby to shine on the national, European and world stage.

His charisma and his sense of friendliness will be missed in French sport and I would like to pay tribute to him on behalf of the LNR,
