Maccabi Tel Aviv's Euroleague season is not over yet, and tomorrow (Thursday) they will try to drag Monaco to a fifth and decisive game in the battle for the ticket to the Final Four, but the Yellows' preparations for next season are underway.

After most of the leading skeleton has signed or at least is close to signing to stay, the team is also facing a first acquisition: the Colombian guard/forward Brian Angola.

Angola (29, 1.98), who currently plays for Pinar Karsiaka, closed his terms at the yellow club and will get his first chance to appear in the Euroleague.

It is not impossible that the official announcement about his signing will come out only at the end of the season.

He currently contributes 18 points, 5.1 rebounds and 4.9 assists in the Turkish league, while in the Champions League he had 15.8, 3.2 and 3.8 respectively - on top of 52.2% from three.

Angola started the season in Galatasaray, and two years ago starred in Ness Ziona and won the European Cup with them.

His averages in the Premier League were 18.7 points, 7.1 rebounds and 3.4 assists per night.

He arrived in Europe in 2019 and also managed to play in Ostend, Partizan Belgrade and AK Athens.

Angola will join Maccabi Tel Aviv's back line with Lorenzo Brown and Wade Baldwin, who have already extended their contracts, and John DiBartholomeo, who has agreed to stay for two more years.

He will occupy the complementary guard slot, on the seam that was originally intended to be given this season between Darren Hilliard and Austin Hollins.

Also the previous summer, the yellows landed an intriguing player from Krasyaka, Bonzie Coulson, and they will hope that his integration as a rookie in the Euroleague will be similar.
