A very difficult event at the end of the State Youth Cup final: Maccabi Haifa fans surrounded the car of the chairman of the association and attacked him with curses, spitting and threats

A very difficult event happened this evening (Thursday) at the end of the final of the State Youth Cup held in Nof HaGalil in which Kiryat Shmona defeated Maccabi Haifa.

At the end of the game, over ten Maccabi Haifa fans surrounded the car of the chairman of the football association, Shino Zoertz, and attacked him with curses, spitting and threats.

They threw a green smoke grenade at Zoertz and knocked on his car.

For minutes Zoertz and the incoming CEO of the Football Association Niv Goldstein sat next to him in the car until police arrived and rescued the chairman from the scene. The

difficult event Zoertz went through is added to dozens of hateful messages he received today from Hapoel Be'er Sheva fans.

He waited in the car until the police rescued him.

As I recall, in recent days there has been great tension between the fans of the teams and the heads of the association due to the conduct surrounding the events of the last game in Turner and the punishments and suspensions by the association's court.

Today, Alona Barkat launched a sharp attack against the association ("This is an execution"), and the association responded with an angry response to the owners of Hapoel Beer Sheva: "She leads a wild incitement, whoever does not sleep is you, these are threats we have not met."
