Oliver Glasner was sent off in the game against Hoffenheim.
Now the referee explains why he had no other choice.
Sinsheim – Eintracht Frankfurt is still not doing well in the league.
In the 3-1 defeat of Oliver Glasner's team against relegation candidate Hoffenheim, not only did things work out, but things also went wrong off the pitch.
The focus was on the coach himself, who was thrown off the pitch and had to follow from the stands for more than half time.

The Austrian coach threw a second ball onto the field.
Osmers then went to Glasner and showed the puzzled coach the red card.
"The rules state that if a team official throws an object onto the field, they must be sent off.
There is no leeway either," Osmers explained his decision afterwards on

Oliver Glasner expected a yellow card
Glasner saw his action as a "silent protest" and was initially unaware of the fatal consequences.
He expected a yellow card.
"If that's red, then she was justified," he said at the remarkable press conference.
National players Kevin Trapp and Mario Götze were also dissatisfied with the referee's decisions.
Both saw yellow for their griping.
