Is right-winger Ousmane Dembélé coming from Barça to Bayern Munich? Thomas Tuchel is apparently calling on Bayern to sign.
Munich – The rumour mill regarding possible transfers at FC Bayern Munich is currently bubbling up quite strongly. Thomas Tuchel wants Dembélé: Will Tuchel's protégé move to Bayern Munich?
Under coach Thomas Tuchel, Dembélé made his breakthrough at Borussia Dortmund in the 2016/17 Bundesliga season. This was promptly followed by the signing of Barcelona: 140 million euros jumped out for the Blaugrana at the time. Bayern coach Tuchel is now apparently longing for his protégé from his Dortmund days.
As reported by the Catalan sports newspaper Mundo Deportivo, Thomas Tuchel has "urged Bayern to sign Dembélé in the summer". The newspaper headlined: "Tuchel and FC Bayern insist on signing Dembélé." However, the newspaper itself refers to other media.

Barça in financial crisis: Possible advantage for Bayern?
The Catalans' coffers are empty rather than full. With billions of dollars in debt, Barcelona has been fighting for its economic existence for years. A high transfer fee would therefore benefit the club, as would the fact that they would no longer be sitting on Dembélé's high salary. The France international is expected to collect around 16 million euros gross per year. Bayern would have to sign the winger first.
At the end of the season, however, the record champions are particularly interested in a centre-forward as a goal machine. Live on TV, coach Tuchel described his preferred candidate for the position – albeit with an ironic grin: "He has to be tall, be super fast and make 20, 25 plus. It doesn't cost anything, it's free of charge."
Ousmane Dembélé's contract with the Spanish top club expires at the end of June 2024. The next few weeks will show whether the 25-year-old will make it back to former coach Thomas Tuchel.
