LeBron James arrives at the game against Golden State 5 hours before kick-off (from the NBA's official website)
As the hours pass, the U.S. continues to analyze the poor decision-making of Golden State's stars, which led to a 104-101 loss against the Los Angeles Lakers Monday night (Monday through Tuesday) and a 3-1 deficit in the second-round series. Klay Thompson took two irresponsible shots in Money Time and missed, Stephen Curry added two misses and a loss of his own, and Draymond Green also contributed a fateful loss that sealed the fate of the champions.
"I don't believe a team with Golden State's experience made so many mental mistakes toward the end," said ESPN commentator Brian Widhorst. "Klay Thompson took two horrible, horrific shots! God forbid, what is he doing! Look at Steve Kerr – he can't believe it. Steph Curry mentioned the move against Kevin Love in 2016. He scored isolation against Anthony Davis to attack the ring, and just discounted him — as he did against Love in 2016."

Windhorst added: "Even Steve Kerr - he didn't ask for a timeout even though he had, and Steph, who throws the ball behind his head, when he had a timeout. Is it Golden State, which has won four championships? What are they doing?! The Lakers were great, but I couldn't believe how the Warriors threw that game."
Stephen A. Smith was also critical, as usual: "Golden State looked confused, messy. Steve Kerr started with Gary Payton, why didn't he finish the game? Did you think Steph could stop Lonnie Walker? Klay Thompson, I don't know what the hell he's going through. He just didn't show up. The last shot he threw, I don't know what he was thinking about. You've seen the body language of Steph, Draymond and Steve Kerr. What the hell was he thinking? He has so much experience to make such a stupid decision. Jordan Poole has to get a search warrant, no one knows where he is. He's a catastrophe in this playoffs. Wherever you look, the situation looks bleak."
